In more than 30 years in public accounting, Joe English has become an expert in financial statements, audits, reviews, compilations, and tax planning and compliance. He is also an expert at his hidden talent – walking on his hands. Joe’s accounting career began in 1988 and he became a partner at BSB in 1998. Since then, he has served many clients including government contractors, construction contractors, software developers, medical professionals, manufacturers, auto service and repair shops, craft breweries, private schools, and youth associations. He has also devoted many hours to service in the community, serving on the boards for Freedom Bank of Virginia, South County Athletic Association, South Run Oaks HOA, and South Fairfax Chamber of Commerce. He is also the past president for Rotary Club of Burke.

When not serving his clients or community, Joe actively supports the activities of his three children. He has served as a league director, a state licensed coach, and a USSF referee. He also enjoys building international relationships, spending time on the golf course, vacationing anywhere with a beach, reading The Wall Street Journal, watching SportsCenter, and cheering for the Redskins, Nationals, and Capitals.
