The BSB Culture

Working at BSB feels like working in a warm, family environment. You aren’t a number here – you will get to know everyone, and you’ll find how helpful everyone is, even if you aren’t working directly with them!

Community Outreach

BSB has been part of the Northern Virginia community for over 40 years, and we take that “part” seriously. We don’t just take care of our own, but are involved in the broader community in a number of ways. Many of our partners and staff sit on charitable and not-for-profit boards, and contribute regularly to programs that help the under-privileged in our neighborhoods. As a group, we also volunteer  and fundraise with local and national efforts to help those in need, such as Habitat for Humanity and Light the Night Walk with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. We also participate in organizations that lift spirits and promote national pride, like Honor Flights. We possess real civic pride, and to that end, encourage all staff to volunteer in the community between 8-16 hours a year, for which they are paid.
