With more than 30 years of experience as a certified public accountant, Carolyn Lohr specializes in providing tax advisory services for individuals, businesses, estates, and trusts. She also provides consulting services to small businesses. Her clients include trusts, estates, attorneys, political consultants, and real estate investors. While she is passionate about accounting, she is also an avid sports fan—her favorite baseball team is the Washington Nationals and her favorite football team is the Virginia Tech Hokies.  She played on the BSB softball team and actively supported the activities of her three children in many capacities including scorekeeper, coach, player agent, and board member.  

When Carolyn isn’t serving clients or attending sporting events, she enjoys reading, hiking, and kayaking.  If she could choose a vacation spot, it would be a tie between the beach and the mountains—wherever she can sit back, relax, and enjoy the water and nature. She also enjoys attending country concerts with her daughter. Both at work and in her free time, she lives by one of her favorite quotes: “never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game.”
